For the duration of No Return Post Punk Society’s stay at Pyramid Club Alex Von Nihil has stood beside us on the DJ stage, poured his time and money into promotions, and given everything he had to help create and enrich this wonderful alternative community.
Sunday, November 4th, he tragically passed away a few days shy of what would have been his 30th birthday.
We’ll be dedicating this party to his memory, the laughs, and the great music he brought to us all. For years Alex wrote the copy for these event pages (with some knit-picking from me) and something he emphasized in every event is the following line: NO DRESS CODE, JUST BRING YOUR GOOD VIBES!
Even if you didn’t know Alex we welcome you to join us, to dance, to eat (blasphemous) pineapple pizza, to drink, and to make new friends. No outsiders, no snobbery here. It’s what Alex was all about and we will continue that tradition.
